011. Our Commitment
VALSYNC is built on a single principle: your data is yours. We do not collect it, we do not want it, and we have designed the App so that nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly initiate it (e.g., sending a chat message to a friend).
022. Information We Do Not Collect
VALSYNC does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Personal identifiers: No email addresses, phone numbers, or real names are collected.
- Usage analytics: No crash reporters, no session tracking, no feature-usage telemetry. We have no idea how you use the App, and we do not want to.
- Device information: No device fingerprints, advertising IDs (AAID/GAID), or hardware identifiers.
- Location data: No GPS, coarse location, or IP-based geolocation.
- Advertising data: No ad SDKs, no tracking pixels, no retargeting identifiers. There are no ads in VALSYNC and there never will be.
033. Riot Games Authentication
To function, VALSYNC requires you to sign in with your Riot Games account. Your Riot credentials are handled directly by Riot's official OAuth flow — we never see your password. The resulting authentication tokens are stored exclusively on your device using Android Keystore-backed AES-256 encryption. These tokens never leave your device and are never transmitted to VALSYNC servers (we do not have any).
044. Game Data
All game data displayed in the App (stats, store contents, match history, friend lists) is fetched in real time from Riot Games' official API. This data passes directly from Riot's servers to your device. VALSYNC does not cache, store, or process this data on any intermediate server.
055. Optional Features
Some features require data sharing you explicitly control:
- Party Chat & Direct Messages: When you send a chat message, it is transmitted to the recipient through Riot's XMPP infrastructure. VALSYNC does not store or log these messages.
- Match Replay Telemetry: If you choose to enable local telemetry capture for match review, replay data is stored in app-private local storage on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere.
066. Source Code
VALSYNC is not open source. Its source code is proprietary and is not publicly distributed. While the code is not available for inspection, we disclose our data practices transparently in this policy, and the App contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
077. Third-Party Services
VALSYNC integrates with the following services:
- Riot Games API: Required for core functionality. Governed by Riot Games' Privacy Notice.
We use no other third-party services. No analytics, no crash reporting, no ad networks, no CDN with logging, no payment processors.
088. Children's Privacy
VALSYNC is not directed at children under 13. As we collect no personal data from anyone, we have no mechanism to knowingly collect information from children. The App's functionality requires a Riot Games account, which itself requires compliance with Riot's age requirements.
099. Data Security
Since VALSYNC stores almost no data (only your encrypted Riot tokens locally), the attack surface is minimal. The Riot authentication tokens in local storage are encrypted using Android Keystore. The App communicates exclusively over HTTPS to Riot's official API endpoints.
1010. Your Rights
Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, delete, or export. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data (encrypted tokens, any saved replays, cached game data) is removed with it. You can revoke VALSYNC's access to your Riot account at any time through Riot's account management.
1111. Policy Changes
If this policy ever changes, we will publish the updated version here and note the change in the App. Given our zero-collection architecture, changes are expected to be minimal and rare.
